Proyecto Hombre Cataluña is a Non-Governmental Organisation founded in 1995 that promotes the autonomy of people through the treatment, prevention and awareness of addictions in Catalonia. More than 20,000 people with addiction problems have been helped. It is made up of a team of 160 professionals, including workers and volunteers.
The development of the activity carried out by Proyecto Hombre is carried out in premises ceded by the Bosch Aymerich Private Foundation. In the course of 2017, an additional room was ceded, formerly occupied by Mr. José María Bosch Aymerich’s historic archive. This space has allowed Proyecto Hombre to offer a better service to users who follow treatment programmes, with a wider and more multi-purpose space that is also used for meetings, training activities and public events. The refurbishment of the toilets in the premises ceded and refurbished in 2017 that had been bricked up in the refurbishment were carried out in 2018.
